Dr. Jared Hagan, originally from Rochester, Minnesota, began his career in an unexpected field. After graduating from Mayo High School, he joined the United States Air Force, serving as an aircraft mechanic stationed at Fairchild AFB in Washington and deploying to various remote locations. Dr. Hagan pursued and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical School during his service, and he completed his service with an honorable discharge.
Following his military service, Dr. Hagan pursued a career in optometry. He completed the necessary prerequisite courses and gained acceptance into Pacific University’s College of Optometry in the spring of 2007. The program involved three years of intensive academic study and a year of supervised clinical practice. Upon completing his education in 2011, Dr. Hagan passed three board exams and continues to fulfill annual continuing education requirements to maintain his practicing license.
Today, Dr. Hagan is a dedicated optometrist practicing in San Diego, applying his diverse background and extensive medical training to provide exceptional eye care.
